A Very Merry Mission Christmas! - Mon 12/18, 4:21 PM

Dear friends and family,
Let's just say that this week was a riot, and a ton of stuff happened, including me renewing my visa (three hour bus rides are fun), our mission Christmas pary, our ward Christmas party, a zone conference, and transfers (I get to stay in Terrazas with Elder Lingenbrink!) being some of the awesome stuff that happened.
The coolest thing that happened this week though was that we had a stake activity with the Church's incitive for Christmas, and that was a blast! The Spirit was so strong, and we met so many new people!
I know that Jesus Christ was born, and that He came into the world to save the world. He came to serve, and we will be blessed for following His example in all things. I know these things to be true, and testify of them in His name, amen.
Love,
Elder DuBose

You'll never believe me....Mon 12/11, 4:02 PM

We made gingerbread houses today.

And I can't really prove it either.
Dear friends and family,
So, with this Christmas season approching, I would just love to share with you guys some fun experiences we had this week. Well, one imparticular.
So, we have been singing white Christmas for the past.... like 12 days, because, well, it's Christmas, and I have this dream everynight. But, like this Friday, it got cold. Like really cold, and it got colder. We got asked to head in to our houses a little bit early. My companion and I were walking to our house, and he looks at me, and said something like is it snowing, and I said, "Well, it sure looks like it!"
But, of course this is the day that I didn't have my camera. You'll have to take my word for it!
God hears our prayers and the desires of our hearts.
I love you guys!
Love,
Elder DuBose

p.p.s.  (This picture is from my companion. He had his camera.) Can you kind of see the snow?  It was awesome!

Awesome! - Mon 12/4/2017, 4:28 PM

And a haircut too!...It was free.

Dear friends and family,
So, things have been picking up this last week. We got some references from some of the members (always a good sign) and we saw some pretty big miracles this week.
This Saturday was amazing, and I feel like I should share one of the biggest miracles that I have seen in my whole mission. So, we have been focusing a lot on fufilling the goals that we place as missionaries (espicially in finding new people). So, it was Saturday and we still had to find like seven people, and we decided to look for potential investigatores, and ... we might have gotten lost. Just then, as we stood on the street cornor looking really lost, a lady came out of her house, and I thought, why not just contact her and ask for help. I choose a name from the list and... she didn't know who the person was, and didn't really want to be contacted. Then, a guy came up to us and said, "The elders!" He asked to come in and we taught him, the lady we were trying to contact and like five other people.
People are being prepared at all times and God works in wonderfully mysterious ways.
Love you guys!
Love,
Elder DuBose
p.s. No pictures this week. Sorry.
