We had a ton of grand miracles this past week.
We had one of our investigators show up to the last part of the three hour block, and it was an awesome experience.
So, M. was in a car accident about two months ago, and has been healing really well. His dad is a less active member who invited us to give him a blessing, and we started to teach him. Beacuse of his injuries, he couldn't come to church for the past few months. He commited to come yesterday, and he came! His dad and his mom drove up in their car, and the car broke down right in front of the church.
As we were returning to the class, a member that was with us asked, "Is there car alright?" I told him no, and he said, "Come with me, let's take a look."
So we went out and the member pulled a huge toolbox out of his trunk and said, "Okay. This is the problem, and this is what I need to do to fix it."
We missed the last part of the gospel principles class, but we got the dad excited about coming back to church.
It reminds me of the truths taught by King Benjamin, that "When you are in the service of your fellow men, you are only in the service of your God."
I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of you. He wants you to make it back to Him. I bear testimony of that.
Love,
Elder DuBose
p.s. they have a big fair in San Luis every year called the Feria Nacional del PotosÃ. It is in our area and here is the view of it from our house.
