This Tuesday, we had a really good devotional by one of the Area of the Seventy elders. (I sure hope that I got the right title down). He talked a lot about service and listening to the spiritual promptings of the Spirit, but as I was thinking about what I wanted to share in this e-mail to everyone, I thought about something he said about taking notes when you're listening to a talk. He said, "Don't write down the words that I say, but write down the words that the Spirit says to you." It has been something that I've been thinking about this whole week.
I thought about it, and I realized that the Spirit is the one who teaches you. I've felt that experience so much in my mission. I testify to you all (or "ustedes" in Spanish) that the Church is true, and that the Spirit will testify of all truth in you life. The Spirit will teach you, if you let it. I testify of this, In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
That is about it for this week. Thank you all for your prayers and the thoughts.
Love,
Elder Kline DuBose
p.s. And, just so everyone knows, next week is my last week in the CCM, so they will be moving my P-day to Wednesday, for one day, and then I'm not sure when it is.
p.p.s This is a picture of my lunch. Instagram it for me, please. Love y'all. ;)
